This week, we are excited to shine our Teacher Spotlight on Mrs. Jeppesen, a dedicated and passionate first grade teacher who has been inspiring young learners for 20 years!
Mrs. Jeppesen has a true love for teaching, especially when it comes to working with younger students. She finds joy in helping first graders build their confidence, discover new skills, and develop a lifelong love of learning. She is known as the flamingo teacher because of her ever-growing flamingo collection. Her classroom is a warm, welcoming place where students feel supported and encouraged every day.
Outside of school, Mrs. Jeppesen enjoys a full and lively home life. She has been happily married and is the proud stepmom of four children. Her home is also filled with furry companions—two dogs she absolutely adores, and one grumpy cat who keeps things interesting! She loves cheering her daughter on while playing lacrosse and cheering for the USU Aggies.
When it comes to relaxing and making memories with her family, Mrs. Jeppesen loves to travel. Her favorite vacation is going on a cruise. She loves spending time in Island Park, and Disneyland. They love traveling together while exploring new places and enjoying the adventure.
Mrs. Jeppesen’s favorite colors are blue and green, which reflects her love of the ocean and the mountains. She is also the youngest of four sisters, and family has always played an important role in her life.
With two decades of teaching experience and a heart full of passion, Mrs. Jeppesen continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of her students. We are so lucky to have her as part of our school community!
