This week, April 13–17, we are proud to celebrate Math Coach and Math Tutor Appreciation Week at Sand Springs Elementary! Our math success is powered by an incredible team dedicated to helping every student grow with confidence. Our Math Coach, Serena Adams, works closely with teachers to design engaging lessons, provide targeted support, and ensure that instruction meets the needs of all learners.
Alongside this leadership, our Math Tutors—Shae Spafford, Hannah Hardy, Jaelynn Brown, Andrea Bermudez, and Jessica Taggart—play a vital role in giving students extra time, encouragement, and personalized strategies to strengthen their skills. Together, this team creates a supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions and celebrate progress.
