Photos of kids doing cup stacking in PE

Last week in PE classes, students at Sand Springs participated in cup stacking activities. Older grades (4–6) practiced and were assessed on speed stacking in preparation for the upcoming district decathlon. Younger grades were introduced to speed stacking and explored the different patterns that can be created using a stack of 12 cups. During the last half of class, each student received a set of cups to design their own patterns, either independently or by working with a partner or group. Many students chose to collaborate and created some impressive and creative designs.

Thanks Mrs. Woll for such a fun PE activity!
