Ms. Cherry loves spending time with her family, especially exploring the outdoors together. They enjoy visiting national parks where they hike, kayak, and watch wildlife, with Island Park, Idaho being their favorite place to be. An avid reader, some of her all-time favorite books include The Secret Garden, Harry Potter, Jane Austen novels, The Enola Holmes series, and Chinese folktales.
She also loves going to the movies and watching shows with her family. A true OG Star Wars fan, she also enjoys all the Avengers movies. Ms. Cherry has two daughters, a son-in-law, four sons, and she became a grandma in September—a role she is loving every second of!
She has been part of the Sand Springs community for over 20 years and truly appreciates how kind and supportive it is. Ms. Cherry loves teaching 6th grade, working with Student Council, and spending time with her Altruismo house friends. We are so lucky to have her!
