We are excited to welcome Cristian Motes Lopez as our new 6th grade Spanish teacher! Cristian comes to us with a warm spirit, a love of culture, and a passion for helping students discover the beauty of language.
Cristian and his wife, Martha, have three children and a beloved pet named Tangiro. They also currently have the opportunity to have his sister living with them. When he’s not in the classroom, you’ll often find him enjoying the outdoors—he loves swimming, hiking in the mountains, and taking in beautiful landscapes. Cristian also enjoys going out to eat, catching a movie, or watching films at home with his family. While he is happiest spending time at home, he also loves discovering new places, meeting new people, and learning about different traditions and foods. His favorite color is red.
One of Cristian’s most memorable vacations was a magical trip to Disney with his family. The experience was both exciting and deeply moving—a true dream come true for all of them.
