Hispanic Heritage Month Parade

Sand Springs Elementary came alive with color, music, and culture as students and teachers celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a special parade and assembly this week.

Dressed in traditional clothing from various Hispanic countries, participants paraded into the gymnasium, where the rest of the student body eagerly watched and cheered. The celebration continued with a lively program featuring speeches, dances, and songs that highlighted the rich traditions and diversity of Hispanic culture.

The event was organized by Mr. James Tomsik, who worked with teachers and students to bring the program to life. It was wonderful to see everyone come together to celebrate and learn from one another.

Students and staff alike enjoyed the vibrant performances and the opportunity to honor the many cultures that make up the Hispanic community. The event served as a joyful reminder of the importance of unity, learning, and cultural pride at Sand Springs Elementary.
