Orange tiger crossing guard

October 22, 2025 — A wave of orange swept through the halls and classrooms on Wednesday as students and staff came together to celebrate Unity Day, a nationwide event dedicated to bullying prevention and the promotion of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

From orange shirts and shoes to bright accessories — and even an orange tiger acting as the morning crossing guard — the school community embraced the spirit of the day with enthusiasm and purpose.

Unity Day is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month, held every October. By wearing orange, participants send a powerful and visible message: bullying is not okay, and everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued.

By participating in Unity Day, this school joined thousands of others across the country who are working to build a culture of respect, understanding, and compassion — one bright orange outfit at a time.
