We are delighted to welcome Madeline Casey to the 5th grade team here at Sand Springs Elementary!
Madeline and her husband, Alex, have been married for 12 years and have two children—a 10-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter. Their family thrives on adventure, especially in the great outdoors! They love camping, mountain biking, hiking, and spending as much time outside as possible.
Madeline is an avid reader who’s always up for a great book chat, and she’s recently discovered a passion for fitness—especially weightlifting—thanks to a few inspiring friends. Her favorite colors are blue and yellow, and while chocolate-covered strawberries top her treat list, she admits she has a major sweet tooth and finds it hard to resist most goodies. Her go-to drink is an Audrey Hepburn from Fiiz.
Some of her favorite travel destinations include Glacier National Park, Banff, the Oregon coast, and a charming farm in Maryland called Broom’s Blooms, known for its delicious homemade ice cream. Fun facts about Madeline: she’s never had a cavity, can type over 100 words per minute, has visited the real Downton Abbey, and once won front row seats to both Hamilton and Wicked! Whether off on an adventure or cozy at home, she believes she can make any place her own “happiest place on earth.” We’re so excited to have Mrs. Casey join us at Sand Springs!
